with my baby peanut

A night view from the tallest building on Earth- Burj Khalifa!!

I just got back from a night view from the tallest building on Earth - Burj Khalifa!! It was just awesome! I have been in Dubai for 2 years now and I can finally say that I made it to the top. I can cross my "to do list" in Dubai before I leave this country! I never thought to go all the way to the top to the Burj Khalifa because No. 1 - I'm afraid of heights No. 2 - I thought paying AED 400 just to go up is so expensive and it can just wait. My friend, Balee was in town for a few days and we were bringing him around to "tour" Dubai. He suggested that we go all the way to the top and he found out that it was only AED 100 instead of AED400 for the normal admission. yay!!!

Our Ticket to the top!!

Camwhoring while waiting for the lift to take us up!

Spectacular view from the TOP!

Good Bye Ah Kong.. May You Rest In Peace..

Dear Grandpa,

God looked around his garden And found an empty space;
He then looked down upon this earthAnd saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you And lifted you to rest; God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best.
He knew you were in pain,
He knew you might neverGet well upon this earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb, so He closed your weary eyelidsand whispered 'Peace be thine.'It broke our hearts to lose you, But you never went alone,
For part of us went with you The day God called you home.

I will always miss you grandpa..

Strip Me Famous - 18 SX!

Strip me Famous - Watch Crystal Peters do her "thinggy" and suprise the judges with a very lasting impression with "pop" from "somewhere" stunt! If you are confused on what I am writting about, well.. i guess you will have to watch the video to understand! LOL! Enjoy the show!

A satirical look at how far reality TV contestants will go in the pursuit of fame that will get pulses racing.

Take a look at how far the next generation of reality TV shows will have to go to trump X-Factor. Instead of hopeful singers auditioning using their vocal talents, we get to see a budding pole dancer as she attempts to strip her way to the 2010 final of Strip Me Famous. Being judged on the length of her Wookiee’s handbag and an umbrella being revealed from a rather unexpected region merely scratch the surface of what you can expect to find in this very funny first episode of Strip Me Famous, with two more episodes still to come.

I like it in the dark closet :P

Facebook status updates like ‘I like it on the floor’ have left most puzzled, and it seems to be spreading like wildfire. It may sound provocative but the main idea is just part of the latest campaign to raise the profile of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

One of my friends has suggested that we women should do something special on facebook in order to increase awareness of October Breast Cancer Awareness month. It's so easy to do, that I'd love you to join in to make this a memorable online event.

Last year, the idea was to post the colour of the bra you were wearing on facebook...and it left men wondering for days, why women were posting colours, seemingly at random.

This year's game has to do with your handbag/purse, where we put our handbag the moment we get home; for example "I like it on the couch", "I like it on the kitchen counter", "I like it on the dresser". Well u get the idea. Just put your answer as your status (i.e. don't respond to this message, but put it on your status) - and cut n paste this message and forward to all your FB female friends to their inbox.

The bra game made it to the news. Let's get the purse in as well and see how powerful we women really are!!! REMEMBER - DO NOT PUT YOUR ANSWER AS A REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE

Its a Special Date Today! 101010

What's So Special About the Date 10/10/10?

Most happy couples will tie the knot on 10/10/10 for the novelty factor, and for the ease of remembering their anniversary, presumably, though there are other motivations for celebration.

Once again, the date in question is considered lucky in Chinese culture, because the number 10 represents perfection or completion, according to the "I Ching," an ancient Chinese text.

Numerologists the world over are claiming today, 10/10/10, as the luckiest day in a 100 years. “The row of ‘perfect tens’ symbolises not just a once in a 100 years quirk of the calendar, but a ‘powerful moment of rebirth’,” says a Delhi-based numbers expert.

For me, I just like the number :-) haha!! Haven't been lucky today yet.. Hopefully, today I will pick up $100 dollars when I'm walking down the street  :-)

In His Time..

I believe there is God and angels watching over me. He's always been there for me throughout the years. I believe the power of prayers and I believe in miracles. He may not have always answered my prayers instantly and there are times that I doubt God and thought that maybe he doesn't love me anymore because I only come to him when I needed something... but He always answers my prayer.. In His time... but he always gives me more than I ever asked for.

I remember there was an incident- where I was participating in my school choir competition. We were given a silk outfit to wear. My teacher had told us to be extra careful with the outfits because she doesn't have extra. The day of the competition, I ironed my outfit... and guess what.... there's a hole there! I burned it! I was so frantic and I didn't know what to do! I prayed and prayed.. I never prayed so hard in my life! I thought that I would get a miracle from God. Maybe God will make it a dream and I will wake up and nothing had happen. But NO.. that didn't happen! my outfit has a burned hole still... I hop on my bus to school and began praying again.. nothing happen.. its still ruin... continue praying and yet nothing happen.

I reached my school gate, prepared to talk to my teacher and apologise.. and then suddenly I saw my senior (3 years older) and had left the school for further studies. She came over and said hi to me and then I explained to her what happened. She was like , "omg... I was clearing my wardrobe yesterday and I found my choir outfit that was sitting there and haven't return. That's why I'm here today." I say that was God's miracle for me. Why on earth would a senior that had left school decide to return the very same outfit that exact same day and the exact time I was there?  He works in ways we can never imagine.

He has blessed me with so many other things in life. I've been searching for a job that pays me decently for months, I had send my CVs everywhere and yet nothing happen. No calls, no interview. I was feeling bored one day and decided to go on dubizzle just to look for some activities I can do in Dubai, and this job advertisement suddenly pop up. The job requirements fits perfectly to my previous job experience.. I applied, went for interview and got the job! Everything happens when you least expected it!

Today, another miracle happened. I've been looking for my passport photos for months..been searching the whole house. I needed it to give to HR when I start work, and also I didn't want to take a new one because its expensive to take it here and I look good in that passport picture! *shy*. . And I made a silent prayer to God and said "Please help me find what I'm looking for".. the very next moment, I turn around and saw a white envelope in between my book and there it was :-) call it coincidence.. but I'll say this is a miracle.

Just be patient if God has not answered your prayers yet. He has a plan for you and when he does, he'll give you the best and always gives more than you can ask for. Just want to say, thank you God for always being there for me. I Love You. :-)

I Got the Job!!! Finally!!!

I will be a working woman soon!!!!!!! :-) :-) time to dig out my working outfits!!! I received an email today and they said they are pleased to welcome me on board! I'm so excited!! :-) I'm going to start work on the 24th this month.. feeling really nervous and excited! Its been a while!

I will still be continuing my online business clothing, doing full time job and going to start another side business called Dubli as well. In case you are wondering what is Dubli - its a reverse auction shopping portal for high end, brand new, quality merchandise. You can check out their website for more information. Just google "dubli" and you can go to the site based on your country. I'll write more about it when I get more information :-) It's going to be busy busy busy from now on!

Anyways, I got to go for a walk to the dry cleaners :-) Just thought I'll stopby my blog to share the good news. Thank you all for your support, your prayers and hope you have a great day ahead!!

Cheers!!!

Some Pictures I Found!

My Mother

My mum is the most beautiful woman in my eyes. She has a small frame, very thick curly wavy hair, her skin is soft like baby (always envied her skin), very kind heart and would do anything for her kids. When we were growing up, I never knew we had very little money. Both my parents are teachers - they were both young and just started their teaching careers. Having 2 girls, my sister and I at that time, only 18 months apart had never been easy. I admire the way my mum tries to give us everything we wanted, even though she has to sacrifice the things she wanted for herself. She is selfless- always thinking about others before herself. I admire her for that, but sometimes I wish she can be a little bit selfish and treat herself better.

Growing up, she has always been there for me.. from school, boys, heartbreaks.. she's always been there no matter what. She is a very cool mum indeed. I remembered her writing "letter of absense" to my teacher because she knew I was too tired and needed rest. (haha) I also remember plotting with her to answer my phone telling the school boys that I'm not home. She's been there when I got my heart broken and she always know the right words to say and she knows how to make me feel better.

She taught me the sense and value of money. She was a role model for me. She didn't have to teach me that, I learn that from observing her.. I know that if she spend on this, then she will have to cut down on the other things. She's always looking at the price before she gets something. I think I got that habit from her! Its a constant sacrifice. She didn't have the privilage to just get whatever she wants (dad was stingy!)

Sometimes I wonder, things changed or people changed? Some parents just don't understand how fast their children are growing up.. parents has always stayed the same, its the kids that change. They tend not to listen to what their parents have to say, they have zero tolerance and they think that their mum just like to nags for the sake of nagging. Parents especially mums will feel that they have been neglected, they lost the sense of closeness or bond that they once had. The more they fight for their child, the more they feel their child are slipping away...

I'm glad that I not only have mum-daughter relationship, but my mum and I are the best of friends. We talked about everything and anything. If you treat your mum like your best friend, then the relationship will always be there. She is the reason I am the woman I am today. I love my mum so much. I promise to take care of you and love you just the way you did for me.

Question - What Do U See??

Let's play a game! What do you see in this picture? Something Naughty, ginger perhaps or some roots?? Answers will be revealed at the end of the week! Sunday - 3rd October! Happy Guessing!!! :-)

It's a YUMMY day!!

I'ts surprising how I can wake up really early when it comes to food! Been waking up 8.30 in the morning for 2 days now! Yesterday I had a call from my vietnamese friend, Thuy that she will be coming over to my place to pass me mooncakes (yay!) and Allan was getting ready to go to work and he was suprised to see me up and brushing my teeth! haha! He is just amazed (but not suprised,of course) that I would wake up for food *blush* There I was, getting ready earlier than him and waiting for my mooncake to arrive! (we finished the mooncake that night itself) Thuy came over and we had a long chit chat, had breakfast and catch up on things because she had gone back Vietnam for a month and I haven't seen her in a while. That night she messaged me and ask whether I would like to join her for coffee the next day.. and of course I said yes!! So, here I am again waking up early today :-) haha! We had breakfast a Columbia Cafe (food sucks), I met 2 other vietnamese friend and a hot filipino mama. Thuy and I decided to drive all the way to Dragon Mart for hotpot and use up our AED180 worth of vouchers that we collected so far! We went there, had too much food (we were so hungry that we ate too fast) and I decided to pack for Allan (who has been sulking that he wanted to follow us but he can't get off work) hehe. I came back, dig out our steamboat pot (thanks to Allan's mum who carried all the way from Singapore for us) and had our nice little hotpot session :-) its is just AWESOME!! chilis and garlic floating!! It kinda scared out housemates looking at it!

It's just a YUMMY day today. I'm popping choco pops in my mouth while typing this blog :-)

I hope you had a yummy day today too!!

Busy day Tomorrow

I'm sitting here drinking my favorite bailey. I think I only had a few sips so far and I'm  feeling kinda blur and sleepy now. I'm a lousy drinker. My hong kong friend  said that I'm a cheap date *blush* We went to a club for ladies night and I only need 1 beer to last me for 4 hours! haha! *blush* My face gets really red and then I feel extremely sleepy. lol.

Tomorrow will be a busy day! I need to go carrefour and get some groceries. I'm going to make Assam Fish and fried belacan kangkung tomorrow.. *drolls* Need to buy okra, tomatoes, dried chilis.. can't think right now! LOL. I'll try to upload the recipe if I have the time in my food blog http://gastronormia.blogspot.com/. I'm not a good cook but I try to learn because I do not have the privilage of paying RM5 and eat what I love in Malaysia! I miss my spicy food.. assam laksa, char koey teow, pan mee, fish head noodles, nasi lemak and the list goes on! Chinese food in Dubai is not as good as back home of course and needless to say, its really expensive to eat out. So, I'm learning to cook! yay! Vyn can cook! Check it out! haha

I will have to clear the room downstairs as well. A friend will be staying with us for a couple of months. Need to move all the boxes and make room for him. It will be a busy busy day tomorrow :-) Hope I'm not too drunk tonight! hehe. Good night everybody.

Good night mummy.I had fun chatting with you on facebook. I love you.. sweet dreams. Miss you so much.

Job Interview

I went for a job interview today! I was so nervous I coudn't sleep.. and in the morning, I couldn't eat. hehe. So stress!! My job interview was at 2pm. I called the cab around 9am and told the cab driver to come and pick me up at 12.40pm (way early). lol. You never know, Dubai cab drivers are unreliable at times and I cannot afford to be late especially for interviews! A friend of mine called the cab once, cab driver got lost and came like 2 hours late! So better be safe than sorry. At 12 pm, I showered, drank a cup of coffee, had a tiny bite on my toasted peanut butter and jam bread, and guess what! Its 12.30pm and the phone rang! Cab driver came early!! So, I rushed .. put on a suit, grab my bag and ran downstairs.. there he was! Too early!! I was asking him to drive slowy because I know that I will be there really really early!

It so weird that I am being interviewed 3 times today. 1st interview, was the cab driver with his Pakistani accent "So madam, where are u from?", "what job are u looking?", "How long have you been in Dubai?", "where do you work before this?" He even told me, "Don't worry. I have a feeling you will get the job". So funny and kind of him. I reached the office building and gave my cabby a tip :-) Its 12.50pm! My interview is at 2pm! Gosh, what am I going to do!

I went in the building, I didn't want to go to the office too early (didn't want to look too desperate), so I walked around the building and have a tour. Its an interesting place. It has restaurants and cafes downstairs and the offices are all upstairs. I went to subway and bought myself a bottle of mineral water :-) Its luch time and the seats are all occupied. So I went to sit at the lobby just to kill time. 2 guys came and sat opposite from where I was sitting and started making conversations and of course it ended out like an interview! "So, I haven't seen you around here", "What brings you here?", " How long have u been in Dubai?" etc etc.blah blah blah...

Its 1.45pm and I went up to the 18th floor and finally meet with my interviewer! By that time, I wasn't feeling nervous anymore (thanks to my previous warming up interviews sessions!) LOL. Halfway through the interview, I can hear my stomach rumbling (hungry!!!) hehe, It was making weird noises *shy* but the interview went really well. He said that I was the last and the best candidate he interviewed so far. So hopefully I wil get an offer letter soon! *fingers crossed*

The perks are really good, I will get a visa sponsored by the company (yay!! no more Oman runs), 20 days paid leave, annual ticket back to my home country, flexible working hours (as long as its 8 hours per day) and the best of all, I will be a working woman again!! I can now wear my burried working outfits and shoes!

Today is a very good day indeed. Its the "Mooncake Festival" and also its Aimee's Birthday! Happy Birthday Aimee & May your dreams come true :-)

Job Interview Tomorrow!!

I got a job interview tomorrow! I'm so happy and nervous at the same time! Its been a while since I actually have someone interviewing me. I'm a nervous wreck. I can't handle the pressure and I really don't know how to "sell" myself. For me, actions speak louder than words. They will know what kind of employee I am once I start working but first, I need to pass the interview! gosh...

I'm having my tom yum noodles to destress myself.! haha. Just have to pass this and it will be over! Vyn!! you can do it!!! If I pass this, I won't have to go through Oman run anymore (yay!), I'll be having my own income (double yay) , I will be able to pay for my brother's education and provide my mum a better and comfy life. (tripple yay).

Wish me luck tomorrow. *fingers crossed*

The Explaination of Life

On the first day, God created the dog and said:

'Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years.'

The dog said: 'That's a long time to be barking. How about only ten years and I'll give you back the other ten?'

So God agreed.

On the second day, God created the monkey and said:

'Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give you a twenty-year life span.'

The monkey said: 'Monkey tricks for twenty years? That's a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten like the Dog did?'

And God agreed.

On the third day, God created the cow and said:

'You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years.'

The cow said: 'That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years.. How about twenty and I'll give back the other forty?'

And God agreed again.

On the fourth day, God created humans and said:

'Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I'll give you twenty years.'

But the human said: 'Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makes eighty, okay?'

'Okay,' said God, 'You asked for it.'

So that is why for our first twenty years we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves. For the next forty years we slave in the sun to support our family.. For the next ten years we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren.. And for the last ten years we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone.

Life has now been explained to you.

Moon Cake Festival

Its the Moon Cake Festival again!!! My friend's facebook status about eating mooncakes and playing "tang lung" - laterns are killing me!

The Moon festival (also called the Mooncake or Mid-Autumn festival) will  fall on September 22nd in the year 2010. What is the Moon festival? Every year on the fifteenth day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar, when the moon is at its maximum brightness for the entire year, the Chinese celebrate "zhong qiu jie.

This is the festival where you will see mooncakes and lanterns selling everywhere!! They come in so many varieties and shapes! They come in many flavors as well - but my ultimate flavor is the Lotus! yummy yum yum!! Its really delicious! Some mooncake may have one or more whole salted egg yolks in its centre to symbolise the full moon.

In case you don't know what a mooncake looks like, these are some pictures .. I'm drooling right now!

The traditional moon cake has red bean paste or lotus paste filing with the option of salted egg yolk stuffed inside.

Aren't they the cutest looking thing?  Photos by @Sparklette

Jelly Mooncake!

They are sold in beautifully packed wooden boxes. Its the perfect gift for family and friends. It also symbolizes wealth and prosperity . They even have ice cream mooncakes!!

I just love this time of the month. The town/ city will be lighted especially in my hometown, Taiping where we will go the the Taiping Lake Gardens and carry our lighted tanglungs there. Its just breathtaking! I wish I'm back home.. :-( *sobs*

If anyone of you reading my blog knows where I can get mooncakes in Dubai, please please drop me a message. hehe. It will be awesome!

Happy Mooncake Festival!!

Best Hot Pot in Dubai - Xiao Fei Yang "Little Mongolian Sheep"

Went for Hot Pot today.. yay!! *jumps* So happy and satisfying.. hehe. Its just the best! Been craving for it for sooooo long! They closed during the whole month of Ramadhan and I finally had the chance to eat there today! A Vietnamese friend of mine introduced this place to me and ever since the first trip there, I had been like a hot pot addict. PERIOD. This is our girl's favorite lunch spot now because all of us got so hooked to this place.

If you love spicy stuff, this is AWESOME! Its different from the typical steamboat I had  in Malaysia, Thailand or Singapore. Back home, its always tom yum or clear soup. But this place, the soup is just fantastic! It taste like herbal soup but a spicy version - you can see chilis and garlic literally floating! No joke! But if you can't handle the chilis - you can choose the option of the non-spicy soup. It taste just as good.

We ordered both Spicy Soup! Sorry I forgot to take the proper picture- looks so messy!!
Was too hungry and busy eating  *blush*

How to get there?

The only problem with this place its really far. Its worth the trip! Its located in International City just behind Dragon Mart. When u see the first roundabout, turn  left. Go straight and look for Building No B03. Its somewhere around there. (sorry I'm really bad in giving instructions) haha. Be sure you go to the correct shop. There's another place that has the same name (slightly different) also a hotpot restaurant so make sure you see this sign on the shop :-) Its a cute little face of a sheep.
XIAO FEI YANG RESTAURANT
(Asian)
Bldg No:B03, China
Tel: 04 4327211

What to expect when you are there?

Just order the soup of your choice, order whatever you want on the menu - they have selections of beef, chicken, mushrooms, lotus, vegetables, meat balls, u name it!

Let the soup boil - add whatever you want the eat in the soup and let it cook for a bit, and ENJOY!!

The waitress doesn't really speak much English and doesn't really understand half the word you are saying so just be patient with them or just point which items you want. I tried communicating with them with my oh-so-broken Mandarin. *shy* At least they got my orders correctly! haha.

If you are in Dubai and you are craving for something spicy, then you should check this place out! Just be prepared to have a free chili / soup facial when you are eating :-) hehe. You will know what I mean.

Back from Oman.. yet again.

Its 1.30 am now.. just got back from Oman an hour ago. So tired! Went to Oman to renew my visa again. DAMMIT!!! Almost 4 hours drive back and forth. Poor Allan.. I'm sitting in the passenger sit and I feel so restless and tired. hehe. Why am I complaining? I'm not the one driving! hehe *shy*

How do I renew my Dubai visa? Well, every 40 days, we drive 2 hours to the border of Oman. Get the exit stamp from Dubai. Fill out a tiny white and blue piece of form, pay AED60 and get an entry and exit stamp from Oman. Drive back to the border heading towards Dubai, get an entry stamp for 40 days and drive back another 2 hours. How fun. Its a long drive just to get a stamp that takes less than 2 minutes to stamp!

I really hope I don't have to do these visa runs after I get a job here *fingers crossed* So tired now.. Going to zzz because we have a morning appointment tomorrow with the Mercedes dealer to test drive their car. hehe. Not buying but just to drive for fun. haha. Then around 1pm, we will be meeting Allan's Thai friends for lunch at "xiao fei yang" or Little Sheep. It has the best hot pot in Dubai! It taste sooooooooo good that you will dream of it the next day! One of Allan's friend will be bring me my tom yum noodles from Thailand!!! Yay! So happy!! Been craving for it... my pama tom yum noodles... I will see u tomorrow :-)

Good night and sweet dream everyone :-)

Hope?

I'm so excited! My adik angkat - Chew said he found a job for me!! He had a talk with a friend of his, a Malaysian boss and he said he would hire me provided I get my own visa. But how?? In Dubai, the only way you can get a visa is when a company sponsors you. This doesn't makes much sense :-( I guess companies now are going through cost savings and do not want any fuss and hassle of applying for their employee's visa. Companies in Dubai are hiring people who has their own visa (under spouse/ or family visa)  .. and I'm VISALESS :-( its just so hard.. I'm tired of going for Oman trips every 40 days just to do my visa. Its a 4 hours drive back and forth- the whole day will be wasted. Not to mention the time, the transportation and poor Allan has to drive me. I feel bad for him.

I just hope and pray that I will be able to negotiate the terms with him. I'm going to ask him to make an exception for me, I'll take a pay cut and pay for my own visa if this is what it takes to get the job. (pretty desperate huh) After all, he's a Malaysian. So maybe *fingers crossed* he'll help.

I have to do another visa run in a few days time. Gosh.. I really hate this feeling. I feel like an illegal immigrant or "bangla" here. Please God... give me a job soon.

Dream Interpretion

Why do we dream? No one actually knows why people dream. Is it your sub conscious way of telling you something that you might ignore or forgot during the day? Is it because you have buried your emotions so deep that the mind has a way of letting it go?

Do you know that five minutes after the end of the dream, half the content is forgotten. After ten minutes, 90% is lost. Sometimes you can remember bits and pieces, but sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you just can't remember a thing!

I woke up really early today because of a dream. I dreamt that my teeth are falling out! I had to find out what does it means! I googled and I came across this website dreammoods.com. I ended up reading and browsing through the meaning and interpretation of my most common dreams- Teeth Dreams, Chase Dreams,Test/Exam Dreams and Falling Dreams.

Teeth Dreams

Dreams of falling teeth are the most common dreams that Dream Moods receives. According to this site, the typical dream scenarios include having your teeth crumble in your hands, fall out one by one with just a light tap, grow crooked or start to rot.

Basically this means that I might have anxieties about my appearances and how others might perceive me.Its all about feeling rejected or afraid of being embarrassed. According to this site, teeth symbolize power. And the loss of teeth in your your may be from a sense of powerlessness. LOL! yes.. I do feel powerless! It also symbolizes that I'm having difficulties expressing myself or getting my point across. I'm feeling frustrated when my voice is are not being heard! Maybe that's why I'm having these dreams.. I tend to keep my frustrations and feelings bottled up :-(

Chase Dreams

I got these kind of dreams once in a while. I'll dream that I am running from something but my legs just won't move!! Basically, this dreams signifies how you respond to pressure and cope with fears, stress or various situations in your walking life. Instead of confronting the situation, your dream indicates that you have a tendency to run away and avoid the issue. Also means that you feel threaten and insecure in the environment you are in. TRUE. I tend to have this dreams when I'm feeling insecure especially when I first moved to Dubai. I feel like I don't belong here.. my friends and family and not here.. I lost my career... and feeling really useless at times.

According to this site-

"The pursuer or attacker who is chasing you in your dream may also represent an aspect of yourself. Your own feelings of anger, jealousy, fear, and possibly love, can manifest itself as the threatening figure. Or the shadowy figure can symbolize the rejected characteristics of your Self. You may be projecting these feelings onto the unknown chaser. Next time you have a dream of being chased, turn around and confront your pursuer. Ask them why they are chasing you. What are you trying to run from?"

Am I suppose to talk to myself in my dreams? hehe I'll try that next time!

Test Dreams.

This is a funny one. I dreamt that I woke up late for my exams and I was crying because I was so late and I might just fail my exams! When I woke up, I laugh and told myself, my studying life really screwed my head up! I'm still having nightmares about it!

According to this site

"These dreams usually have to do with your self-esteem and confidence or the lack of. You tend to believe in the worst about yourself and are often overly worried that you are not making the grade and measuring up to other people's expectations of you. You may also experience the fear of not being accepted, not being prepared, or not being good enough. Test dreams also suggest that you are feeling unprepared for a challenge. Rarely, these dreams are about the actual content of the test, but rather it is more about the process and how you feel during the exam taking process. These feelings often parallel how you are actually feeling in a particular challenge or situation in your waking like."

I believe this is true to a certain extend. I often put too much pressure on myself. I care about what people think. I hate to be judge. I do believe in the worst in myself (not healthy, I know) because I always think that whatever I do is not good enough. I'm not sure why I always had this feelings. My parents never ever put any pressure on me, maybe I'm a Virgo, maybe I'm a perfectionist. Whatever the reason is, I need to believe in myself.

Falling Dreams

Have u ever dreamt that you are actually falling? Its a funny feeling like you somehow fall from your bed but you are actually on your bed!

This site suggest that

"As with most common dream themes, falling is an indication of insecurities, instabilities, and anxieties. You are feeling overwhelmed and out of control in some situation in your waking life. This may reflect the way you feel in your relationship or in your work environment. You have lost your foothold and keep up with the hustle and bustle of daily life. When you fall, there is nothing that you can hold on to. You more or less are forced toward this downward motion without any control. This lost of control may parallel a waking situation in your life.

Falling dreams also often reflect a sense of failure or inferiority in some circumstance or situation. It may be the fear of failing in your job/school, loss of status, or failure in love. You feel shameful and a lost sense of self-esteem You are unable to keep up with the status quo and feel that you don't measure up."

Conclusions

Gosh.. after seeing these interpretations, I think I really have self issues to work on! I need to work on my insecurities and my feelings. Don't want to have these dreams ever again!! I'm going to work on the way I think, the way I feel and do something about it and not just feeling sorry for myself. When there's a will, there is a way. If you don't try, you never know. I believe dreams do tell you something about yourself.  To all the dreamers out there, pay close attention to your dreams. Its the your sub-conscious way of communicating with you. Its telling you to do something about whatever issues u have and find a way to resolve it. I know I will. Who knows, I might be dreaming of chocolates and candies once I confronted my issues :-)
